Proverbs 9:9

Give instruction to a wise man, and he will be still wiser;

teach a righteous man, and he will increase in learning.

This makes sense. The wise desire reproff when they are wrong so they can learn and be ever wiser. But the fool is content in his ignorance. 

Job 28:28

And he said to man,

‘Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom,

and to turn away from evil is understanding.’”

What does this look like?  It looks like constant prayer morning, night and before any decision. It looks like reading and meditating on the word daily. It looks like training yourself not to react to offense but to listen to the Holy Spirit inside of you and letting him guide your steps. Fear The Lord and be wise.
