This current temptation

Temptation: right now the devil is hanging a carrot in front of my face. God has promised me a buffet. But right now I'm starving.  The devil is trying to get me to turn off the path by dangling food in front of me. But I know that if I simply stick to the path my buffet is waiting ahead of me I will not turn aside. God's promises will come to pass in my life. Besides I don't even like carrots!
