Job 4:3-5

Behold, you have instructed many,

and you have strengthened the weak hands. Your words have upheld him who was stumbling, and you have made firm the feeble knees. But now it has come to you, and you are impatient; it touches you, and you are dismayed.

When we as Christians find ourselves in trouble or dealing with a storm in our lives, we must be especially prayerful and wise. If we can give advise and wise council to others but not put it into practice when our time comes, than we are hypocrites. We must learn to encourage ourselves, be humble and take our own advise.
